Ukaz newspaper of Saudi Arabia have been denied about the allegations on Turkey.  Saudi newspaper claimed that Turkey tried to capture the manuscripts in National Archives and History Research Center. However, Libya declared a statement that says Turkey is not related any capturing of manuscripts. Spokesman of Directorate of the Center, Yusuf Zart, denied the Saudi Arabia belonging Ukaz newspaper's statement that claims that "Turkey's tried to capture some manuscripts in the Libyan National Archives and Historical Research Center."

These rumors are completely false and unfounded." Zarti said that the General Directorate of Foundations demanded the rent of the building in which the Center is located, and did not consider it to stop the work or to evacuate the manuscripts, as alleged. Noting that the National Archive Center building is affiliated with the General Directorate of Foundations, Zarti noted that requesting the rent is a legal procedure that has been implemented since 2009. Saudi-owned newspaper Ukaz had published an article on the 10th of January, that is claiming Turkey attemped to seize Libya's National Archives and History Research Center works in manuscript. Hopefully, Libya's statement gives a clarity on allegations of Saudi newspaper Ukaz.

Libyan Prime Minister Fayiz es-Serrac asked the Ministry of Finance on Saturday (January 9th) to establish a coordination mechanism for the payment of rental fees for the National Archives and Historical Research Center building.
