Factual mistake in Buzz Feed News article: Who is to declare war in the recent constitutional amendment?
An article published on Buzz Feed News after the referendum on 16 April 2017 states that the recent amendments to the Turkish constitution include "granting any popularly elected president the authority .... to declare war without parliamentary approval. "
However, declaring war is among the powers of the parliament not the president according to the constitutional amendment. See Clause 87:
