Chuck Schumer, Senator for Democrats, blamed Turkey through his twitter account by committing human rights abuses in Syria against Kurds and enflaming the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Claim 1: Turkey committed human rights abuses in Syria, against the Kurds.

Turkey always underlines PYD and PKK are the same terror group while separating Syrian Kurdish community from them.

However US special envoy to Syria James Jeffrey had defined the YPG as the PKK’s Syrian offshoot several times.

France 24 published an article on 16 October 2020 “Turkish ultranationalists storm Armenian neighbourhoods in Istanbul”. In the article, there are 3 factual mistakes arise on the claims;

Claim 1: France 24 claimed that On October 5th of 2020, a convoy of Turkish ultra-nationalists stormed the Kurtulus neighborhood, home to a large Armenian population. The editor added a photo where to prove the claim is picked from a twitter account and there seems the cars are draped with Azeri and Turkish flags.

Claim: Turkey sent mercenaries to fight against Armenia

Basing the news to a source on the mercenary who did not want his name to be used, The Guardian reported that Syrians were employed as mercenaries for 10,000 ₺ (£ 1,000). In the article, where it was stated that Turkish private security companies were collecting mercenaries to send them to the Armenian border, it was claimed that the contract terms were recommended as 3 months and 6 months.

Foreign Affairs: Nikos Dendias' claims are untrue

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hami Aksoy, responded to the allegations of Dendias, Greece's Foreign Minister, concerning Turkey in a newspaper interview.

Aksoy said in the statement, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias’ claims in an interview published on Eleftheros Typos newspaper on 11 October were false claims.

Pashinyan ignores the UN resolutions

Daily Mail reported that the Armenian PM blamed on Turkey and Azerbaijan without mentioning UN Security Council’s resolutions in the interview.

Even in the article Nagorno-Karabakh defined as “…the lands which under international law belongs to Azerbaijan…” Pashinyan contradicted inappropriately to the UN resolutions with his words.
